I have always been fascinated with the beauty of words and the idea of transforming into another person, to adapt their mindset, their behaviours and to feel their emotion. I think through acting and writing you always explore new parts of yourself and the world on a deeper level. That is the reason why I choose a Drama and English Literature degree. It has given me, and still gives me, the chance to expand emotionally and mentally, and the opportunity to create a new little world on my own. For the future, I hope I will be able to stay with my passion and can continue to creatively express myself by acting and writing as a career.
The short films and plays I have been in often include characters with a great emotional depth which gives you as a performer, and creative person, a lot of opportunities to work with.
I do not mind taking on a variety of different roles. It does not matter if it is a wife in an unhappy marriage with a substance abuse problem, or a shy Victorian child, I am more than happy to explore different characters.
